Spinnerbaits

Spinnerbaits have been known bass catchers for quite some time. Their popularity, at least in big tournament wins, has fallen off the last few years. Do not let that fool you, however. Spinnerbaits are one of the best shad imitators on the market and continue to catch fish anywhere in the country. Bright/black colors with loud blades tend to perform best in stained water while more translucent colors with smaller blades excel in clearer water. If you’re not throwing a spinnerbait, you are definitely missing out.
