Swimbaits

Swimbaits are great shad imitators that catch fish. They are typically fished on a lead head and retrieved fairly slow. The larger the head, the deeper they can be fished. There are lots of color/style options and matching the shad forage is a great place to start. These baits are also popular on umbrella rigs as well as trailers on spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, etc.
